The American Pain Society (APS) next month will be hosting pain researchers to its 35th Annual Scientific Meeting. Attendees can expect an array of educational sessions focusing on acute pain, chronic cancer and noncancer pain, and recurrent pain.
Being held in Austin, Texas at the Austin Convention Center, the conference will be welcoming more than 1000 scientists and clinicians specializing in pain will be on the ground to discuss and review clinical, translational, pre-clinical and basic science pain research.

Featured sessions at the event include: results with marijuana for treating chronic pain; stem cell treatments for chronic pain; new findings on arthritis pain; and impact of psychology in pain relief.
Poster sessions will be available to registrants on May 11, 12 and 13. There will be more than 450 posters reporting on new research in the study and treatment of pain this year.
Clinical Pain Advisor will be on the ground to provide the medical community with pain-related news of the utmost importance to health care professionals specializing in the management of pain.
