Room for improvement exists in all aspects of chronic stable angina management, including use of existing guidelines, patient-provider communication, and compliance with lifestyle changes.

“Follow the guidelines and ask the second question. If angina is causing my patient to change his or her lifestyle, I want to know. I don’t want my patients to avoid angina. I want them to be able to climb that hill,” Dr. Jordan concluded.
