“Non-surgical alternative relieves aching knees” — KING5 covered a story on a woman who had been living on pills for years until she and her doctor began taking a look at non-surgical alternatives for her knee pain.

“Medical Marijuana Confusion Causing Problems?” — A story in the National Pain Report claims that there’s an uproar in Montana over the state approving marijuana for medical use. One of the reasons for confusion, the article points out, is that the federal government isn’t providing any guidance on the topic.

“Lyrica: Can Fibromyalgia Drug Help Arthritis Patients’ Pain?” — An article in Newsmax this week reminds clinicians that even though some physicians prescribe Lyrica for rheumatoid arthritis, the drug has still not been approved for treating this condition.

“Experts discuss health impacts of medical marijuana in Utah” — State lawmakers in Utah listened to what local and national experts had to say on medical marijuana, according to Desecret News. Even though the legislator already passed a law allowing children with specific conditions to use cannabinoid oil for the treatment of seizures, there are others who are pushing for looser regulations.
