Distal Clavicle Osteolysis
The Problem Osteolysis of the distal clavicle is considered an overuse injury resulting from repeated microfracture and attempted remodeling. Stress on the end of the clavicle causes further degeneration of the cartilage in the acromioclavicular joint.
