Authorized Generic of Flector Patch Now Available From Teva

An authorized generic of Flector Patch (diclofenac epolamine topical patch) has been made available by Teva Pharmaceuticals for the topical treatment of acute pain due to minor strains, sprains, and contusions.

The Diclofenac Epolamine Topical Patch contains 180mg of diclofenac epolamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), in an aqueous base (13mg of active per gram of adhesive or 1.3%). When applied to intact skin, the patch provides local analgesia by releasing the NSAID into the skin.

Teva’s product will be supplied in resealable envelopes, each containing 5 patches (10cm x 14cm) with 6 envelopes per box.
